RECON runs on connected multi-camera hardware fitted to the vehicle. Whether your current cameras can be brought onto RECON depends on the make and model, one of the first things we check on a demo call.

No. RECON runs on its own. If you already run a telematics platform, RECON connects to it so video and telematics sit together.

Does RECON replace our telematics system?

No. RECON is a video and risk platform that also holds journey and vehicle activity data. Where you already run a telematics platform, that stays as your telematics system and RECON connects to it so the footage sits alongside the data. For fleets without one, RECON provides journey history and live vehicle visibility on its own.

Do we need Webfleet or Geotab to use RECON?

No. RECON works as a standalone platform. If you already run Webfleet or Geotab, RECON connects to either so video and telematics sit together — but that is an option, not a requirement.

Multi-network, unsteered IoT connectivity streams and downloads footage while the vehicle is still on the road, so you are not waiting for it to come back to base.
