Primeline Logistics run transport operations out of Dublin. They deployed MANTIS connected cameras with the RECON platform, through Simplicity Group.
The problem
Logistics generates disputes faster than anything else on the road: collisions where liability is contested, near misses nobody reported, claims that arrive weeks after the journey.
Decisions on those have to be made quickly, and without evidence they get made on whoever tells the most confident story. The cost is delay, uncertainty and money that did not need to be spent.
What was deployed
Connected cameras across the fleet with RECON behind them, giving the team footage they can reach without visiting a vehicle and a record that does not depend on anyone’s recollection.
For the fleet team that means an incident can be checked the same day: whether to defend a driver, respond to a claim, or change something about how a route is run.
Why it matters on a working fleet
A basic dashcam answers one question about one direction. A connected system answers the question somebody actually asks, which is usually about the nearside, the rear, or a moment nobody flagged at the time.
Where it leaves them
Primeline now has a clear record of what happens on the road, which shortens the argument when there is one and removes it entirely when the footage is unambiguous.
