Coverage and what happens to the footage. A forward-facing camera gives one angle, retrieved at base. RECON runs up to 24 angles per vehicle, retrieves footage over the air while the vehicle is on the road, and scores driver risk continuously rather than only after an incident.

MANTIS treats camera failure as a certainty rather than an exception. Every camera on every vehicle is health-checked daily, with alerts for video loss, memory faults and units that have gone offline. Vehicles run on multi-network, unsteered IoT connectivity, so footage uploads from rural routes and remote depots instead of waiting for the vehicle to come home.

How do I get started with MANTIS?

It starts with a conversation. Tell us what your fleet runs, which telematics platform you use, and the incidents costing you most. We’ll show you what RECON would have captured on those vehicles. In the US there are two routes. You can buy through the telematics provider or reseller you already work with, or direct from MANTIS. We’ll tell you on that first call which one fits your operation, and who your account team, installers and support will be. Nothing is committed at that point. Most fleets take a demo, then a scoped proposal, then a phased rollout that starts with the vehicles carrying the most risk.
