Start with reporting
Review last contact, vehicle connectivity, camera status, video loss and storage warnings. Treat missing information as something to investigate, not proof of health.
Check the physical view
Include lens cleanliness, obstruction, mounting and changed bodywork in the vehicle routine. A connected camera can still have a poor view.
Retrieve a test recording
Select a recent trip and review the expected camera views. Check the picture, timestamp and recording coverage against your installation plan.
Assign the next action
Record the vehicle, affected camera, issue, owner and follow-up. Confirm reporting and recording again when the issue is resolved.
